Jamie

When Jamie was just sixteen, Vishal came to her high school and choreographed a piece for her dance class. At that point she immediately became hooked on Bollywood. She has been a member of Sparq’s Professional Team for the past six years, and has danced for the past nineteen years.

Jamie says that dance means everything to her. It is the one thing that always brings her happiness and she can forget about all of her worries and let the music and dance take her away. Jamie has two very memorable experiences with Sparq, the first was to perform at the Scotiabank Saddledome for 17,000 people at We Day Calgary 2012, and be backstage with Canadian artists such as Shawn Desman and Lights. Her second was back-up dancing for Salim Sulaiman Live in Concert at the Stampede Corral in fall 2014.
